The Boat
Sultan boats operate in the remote, isolated, southerly Huvadhoo Atoll, reached in around 50-minutes by seaplane then 20- to 90-minutes by speedboat, depending on the vessel’s location, from Male airport.
Lounge Area
Three beautifully crafted, teak wooden decks: one covered, surrounded by dinette sofas; bar/cafeteria; sundecks; an air-conditioned dining saloon with a TV, CD and DVD player; Non-motorised water sports – windsurfer boards, canoes and snorkel equipment – are available complimentary; jet-skiing and water-skiing are available at a local charge.
Accommodation
2 double- and 4 twin-bedded air-conditioned cabins with en suite shower head. Each cabin has a fan, porthole, safe, wardrobe and under bed storage.
Itineraries
The programmed itinerary operates with Sunday and Monday arrivals. Sultan of the Madivaru cruises to different locations each day, with ample opportunities to simply relax, sunbathe, snorkel or dive. Marine life in Huvadhoo atoll is prolific and the dives are an exciting combination of drift dives through channels from the outer reef to gentle dives in the inner atoll. The itinerary is subject to the vagaries of the weather and is solely at the discretion of the captain/dive master.
Dining
What’s included: Diving Usually three dives daily including three night dives during each week. Diving is undertaken from the support dhoni ensuring maximum manoeuvrability within the reefs. The dhoni carries all dive equipment and the compressor. All dives are accompanied by a PADI dive instructor. Dive equipment is available for rental.
